SEARCC has conducted 3 categories of Competitions.
1. SEARCC International Schools Software Competition
This competition commenced in 1989 in Singapore and continued every year. It has provided an immense service to the younger generation and motivated them to embrace the field of Information Technology.
2. SEARCC International Micromouse Competition
The Micromouse Competition was started as a trial run in 1995 in Colombo, Sri Lanka. This competition was conducted from 1996 to 2000.
3. International Internet Competition
The International Internet Competition was conducted only once in 1998 in Darwin hosted by The Australian Computer Society.
